E-B S Closed Conveyors Meeting today’s conveying challenges is not always easy in environments where speed, efficiency and economy are all key considerations, however, the revolutionary E-B S closed conveyor provides a solution to a number of conveying problems. This unique system is patented worldwide. E-B S conveyors are ideal for conveying dusty products such as cement, valuable products such as diamonds, hazardous or odorous products such as chemical waste along straight runs, steep inclines and declines and around tight corners. It has the added advantage of requiring no special foundations, having only light construction and providing excellent space saving capabilities. Within the E-B S is a high quality rubber belt, formed into a pouch shape by a series of specially positioned idlers on a light steel structure. The fibre reinforced belt has a triangular suspension profile on both edges, allowing the pouch to be suspended between a pair of idlers, enclosing all conveyed material inside. A dedicated team of engineers in our Technical Service Department provides technical support for the Enerka-Becker System as well as offering extensive experience and an advanced computer design software program to help you select the best system for your application. V-Belts Across all industries, power transmission demands high levels of safety, quality and cost efficiency. Fenner Dunlop offers a comprehensive range of v-belts constructed from tough, long-lasting synthetic rubber offering heat and oil resistance to ensure the belts perform to the highest standards under a range of temperatures, for a range of industrial and automotive applications. Dunlop V-belts are constructed from tough, long-lasting synthetic rubber, reinforced with low elongation polyester cords. Specially designed synthetic rubber compounds give heat and oil resistance, which ensures that the belts will perform day after day in a wide range of ambient temperatures. Use of the highest quality raw materials, and manufacture under rigorous quality control, ensures that Dunlop V-belts meet internationally accepted standards and cross sections. The company's quality systems are accredited to ISO 9001. Hose Lining Fenner Dunlop’s rubber linings for fabric hoses are used in a variety of applications, primarily fire hoses and vehicle air bags. Comprised of two components, a vulcanised liner and an unvulcanised “dry” adhesion layer, both made from 100% top quality EPDM rubber to guarantee clean, efficient and environmentally friendly processing, Fenner Dunlop hose linings can be relied on in environments where safety and quality are absolutely critical. Available in a range of diameters from 19mm to 150mm, all hose linings have excellent mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, elongation at break and abrasion resistance, as well as excellent ageing properties when exposed to high or low temperatures. They are also available in an oil resistant formulation. Fenner Dunlop hose linings provide excellent adhesion levels to any type of woven jackets. Laying flat, thereby using less space in the vehicle, and being flexible for easier installation round curves and corners, a hose has a number of advantages over a more traditional rigid system when used in vehicle air bag air-delivery systems. Quality and performance are absolutely critical in vehicle safety systems and Fenner Dunlop can supply a hose lining to meet the stringent requirements of the automotive industry. Cow Beds Fenner Dunlop has over twenty years’ experience in the manufacture of safe and hygienic matting for cow stalls. Our products are of two types:
Dunlomat Supplied on a roll for quick and easy installation, Dunlomat cow mats are available in standard widths up to 2000 mm and a thickness of 6 or 10 mm. They consist of a polyester-nylon carcass with a non-slip rubber cover to increase comfort and prevent injury. The mats are profiled for easy cleaning and guaranteed for 15 years. Using Dunlomat renders the use of straw almost superfluous, thereby reducing purchase, labour and storage costs.
Alanta Waterbeds for Cows Once installed, the waterbed moulds itself to the cow’s shape, giving optimum comfort, and the seamless, non-slip rubber cover prevents injury and facilitates easy cleaning. Alanta Waterbeds for Cows are supplied from stock in roll form for easy installation using the installation kit provided and are guaranteed for 10 years. Rubber Sheeting Fenner Dunlop manufactures a wide range of rubber sheeting products that have been designed for surfaces exposed to abrasion and/or chemically aggressive environments. They are suitable for a variety of applications, including tank lining, impact plates, general skirting, conveyor chutes, pipe lining, seals and pulley lagging and applications where chemical and wear resistance protection is required. Abrasion Resistant Rubber Sheeting is manufactured in three standard grades 40, 50 and 60 Durometer hardness, from 1.5mm to 30mm thick and standard width of 1200mm. All products are available with or without diamond profile and/or an isoprene bond backing layer. Spun Yarns Plasterboard Belt Plasterboard forming belts are especially designed and manufactured in order to meet the high demands of board production and to ensure the ultimate quality of the finished product. Plasterboard belts are available in a stable cotton or synthetic 5ply belt construction with grey or black non-marking covers.Plasterboard belts can be made in any desired width and thickness in order to meet customer demands.Fenner Dunlop belts have been supplied worldwide to all major gypsum board manufacturers. Starglide Moving Walkways Moving walkways are no longer considered to be a luxury product, but have become a vital component in airport design and planning. Increasing distances have to be covered and the need for passenger comfort is greater. High safety standards are set, maintenance costs and downtime need to be reduced and noise levels kept to a minimum. All over the world, Fenner Dunlop’s Starglide conveyor belts are carrying human passengers safely, comfortably and economically. The belts are installed in airports and station terminals, parking facilities, pedestrian areas, hypermarkets, exhibition centres, artificial ski grounds and casino entrances. Starglide has a number of advantages over the pallet system of moving walkway, including a smaller structure, less maintenance and quieter operation. From a passenger point of view, the rubber belt is easier on the feet, would break a fall better than on aluminium pallets and is quieter to walk on especially with rolling luggage. A new development using Starglide belts is the Accelerated Walkway System (AWS), currently on trial at Montparnasse railway station in Paris. This installation is 150m long and carries passengers at 9km/h, three times the speed of conventional walkway systems, and represents a breakthrough in passenger transportation. Dewatering Environmental legislation is becoming increasingly tough and the cost of its implementation is spiralling. What industrial companies need are simple, cost effective solutions to environmental problems so that legislation can be met without undue cost or disruption to the manufacturing process. Fenner Dunlop's new dewatering process is a system of tubes, from just a few metres to several hundred metres long, made from a specially developed geo textile. The system is suitable for the dewatering of a variety of “wet” waste materials and has applications in the mining, food, aggregates, power generation, agriculture and iron & steel industries, to name just some. The system is simple to operate: wet waste material is pumped into the tube and left to settle. During the settling process, clean water is filtered out through the fabric, leaving the dry solids inside. The full tubes can be used for back filling mines, land reclamation projects or coastal defence. Alternatively, organic or valuable material can be removed from the tube for composting or sale, or the dry tube can be sent to landfill. Tubes are supplied either alone or as part of an installation and service package to allow for maximum flexibility. Each tube is designed and manufactured to suit a particular application, taking into account the material to be dewatered, the volume of wet material, the space available and the geography of the site.
